About Tanja
Hi, I’m Tanja Rouintree—a Christian marriage and parenting coach with a heart for helping families heal and thrive. I work with individuals, couples, and parents to overcome the pain of betrayal, addiction, and childhood trauma using practical tools like emotional regulation, healthy communication, and biblical wisdom.
I hold a degree in education and am a board certified life and mental health coach. I’ve been coaching since 2023, but my heart for restoration was shaped long before that. For 16 years, I was a liturgical artist, running a thriving clergy stole business that allowed me to serve churches and ministries all over the world. That creative work deeply influenced the way I coach today—with curiosity, compassion, and a desire to help people feel seen and heard.
My own journey includes healing from childhood abuse and abandonment—and understanding how those early wounds shaped my marriage and parenting. God’s grace in my life fuels my empathy for others. As 2 Corinthians 1:3–4 says, He is “the Father of compassion… who comforts us in all our troubles, so that we can comfort those in any trouble with the comfort we ourselves receive.”
I also hold fast to the promise in Isaiah 61, that God binds up the brokenhearted and brings beauty from ashes. That’s the hope I want every client to walk away with.
I live with my husband of nearly 40 years, our daughter, and her five amazing kids. Our son also lives nearby, and we’re blessed with “bonus” children and grandchildren through our church community.
